A little about our Crèche Attendant, Cody

Qualifications:

• Going into my third year of primary teaching at ECU
• First aid in education and childcare setting

Why you enjoy working in the crèche:
I love working in the creche as I get to see the beautiful smiles on all the children as they walk through the door. It is a pleasure to watch them grow into their own personalities. I also love working with, what I consider the staff to be, a creche family.

Experience in childcare:
I have worked at two different before and after school cares for over two years now, while working at the creche. I have also babysat children from the ages of 1 to 10 since the age of 15.

Hobbies:
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, playing netball and spending time at the beach.

A little about our Creche Attendant, Tyla

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Children, Families and Community

Experience in childcare:

• I have been working in childcare for 10 years. At VenuesWest I have spent many years working within the creche, funhouse and Vacation Care.

Why I love working in the creche:

I love watching the children learn and develop in our care. I love building relationships with both the children and their families, helping them with questions regarding their children’s development.

Hobbies:

I run around with my daughter and 2 dogs at home. I also like to binge watch corny reality shows, dance around the house and see my family as much as possible

A little about our Crèche Supervisor, Sue

• Associate Diploma in childcare
• Provide First Aid in an Education and Care setting
• Fire extinguisher

• I have a long-standing career in childcare working in the industry for many years. I have had the opportunity to work in a Director role in a couple of Day Care Centers and as a Qualified Worker.
• I have been working in the Creche for 10 years as an Attendant and Supervisory role.

• I find it a very rewarding job; I enjoy watching the children develop and grow into independent individuals.
• Spending quality time with each child
