“Most people have no idea how good their body is designed to feel”

Pilates and mobility, Training for health and well being, Evidence-based strength and hypertrophy training, Myofascial release

I have been physically active for all of my life; coming from a dancing background, I have a love for being active and coaching others. An injury introduced me to Pilates and Yoga, and a passion for wellness and holistic health was sparked. An office job was never for me, so I spent the next few years studying exercise science and personal training, so I could help others in their journey towards health and wellness.

“Feel the burn, burn the feeling”

Strength and condition, Functional training, High intensity interval training, Sport specific training (Athletics), Speed training

I knew from very young age the passion I had for keeping my body fit. I started my first sport (Athletics) when I was 5 years old, since then I have tried many sports and study a lot about the movement of our bodies.

My specialty as an athlete is athletics as I have competed at an international level for the Australian team, travelling over to Canada, winning a Gold & Bronze medal.

I’ve always loved sharing my knowledge with others and even as young as 14 I was training the younger kids at my local athletics club in sprints and hurdles.

From all these fitness experiences I have gone though in my life at such a young age, I knew I didn’t want to be in any other industry but the fitness one.

I want to share my knowledge with you and allow you to fall in love with keeping your body fit as much as I do.

“If you feel good, you look good. This to me is a reflection of a person’s sense of well being and happiness, as well as how you appear physically."

Strength and conditioning, Body movement, Sustainable weight loss, Myofascial release, kids and adults disability fitness, Aqua fitness

I am originally from New Zealand, having moved to Australia when I was 18. My nationality is of Maori and Cook Island descendant.

My passion for fitness began with my own weight loss journey. Having lost 25kg, this kick started my strong passion for health and fitness. The opportunity to learn from and share my experiences, heavily influenced my decision to change direction as a labourer and become a Personal Trainer.

Having been in the industry for over 6 years, I focus my training and education on setting achievable and realistic goals to encourage sustainable healthy lifestyle changes, not quick fixes.

I believe everyone has the potential to improve on all aspects of life, especially in the area of health and fitness.

During my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I am an avid basketball player and NBA fan, and enjoy football (AFL) and gaming as well.

I am originally from the oldest capital in the world, Damascus (SYRIA) where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Translation and my passion for fitness first commenced. From an early age I was involved in sports and struggled especially in team sports, which ultimately motivated me to start working out and after seeing the improvement in myself, has turned into a lifelong passion.

I started my career as a group fitness instructor in Dubai where I was fortunate enough to learn from many famous international coaches. After that, I moved to Australia and completed personal training, Pilates, and body balance certificates. I also qualified in boxing and high intensity training.

I carried out a Rehab training course after experiencing back pain and developed knowledge and passion for the relationship between injuries and lack of muscle control which I emphases during my teaching/training.

“There is no greater instrument for optimising human physiology than a nutritious diet and a correctly prescribed exercise regime. Both should be accessible to every Australian.”

Cardiovascular development and anaerobic threshold training, Strength and conditioning, Late phase injury rehabilitation

Having commenced my own fitness journey as an endurance runner I first set foot in the gym as a means of overcoming the injuries and muscular imbalances acquired through running. Under the guidance of skilled exercise professionals I quickly overcame my injuries and found myself hooked on this new style of training. Under my new regime I was feeling better than ever. I felt stronger, moved better and was making progress in areas I had never even considered previously.

In the 8 years since this time my focus has been on the study of how exercise can best be applied to optimise human wellbeing and overcome the detrimental effects of the largely sedentary lifestyle so many of us are forced to lead in the modern world.
